Quinta do Monte is surrounded by nature and gardens in the lovely village of Monte where history and tradition meet. The cable car terminal that will take you to the centre of Funchal is a 2 minute walk. Madeira's famous wickerwork toboggans are also located nearby and certainly an alternative means of transportation!
