The Portuguese-owned group Charming Hotels Madeira offers a luxurious collection of boutique hotels where high standards of quality and service meet with excellent locations and elegant decorations.

The Hotels are lovingly restored Manor Houses, traditional from Madeira and known as "Quintas". Every detail has been taken into consideration to bring into our days the glorious and tranquil past Madeira is well known for.

The old Quintas of Madeira provided the perfect foundation to build upon this idea. The elegant Manor Houses had large extensions and gardens that could be refurbished to provide the standard of luxury required. A team of professionally trained staff would provide the attention to detail and highly personal service to make the difference.

The group started purchasing in 1998 with Quinta Perestrello, soon to be followed by Quinta do Estreito, Quinta do Monte and Quinta das Vistas.
